Association of Systematic Kinesiology Membership

 

Membership Levels and Requirements

Professional Membership of the Association of Systematic Kinesiology entitles the practitioner entry on to the Professional Register and is open to all individuals who meet the standards of Professional Systematic Kinesiology practice, established by the Trustees of ASK.

The Trustees reserve the right to alter these requirements as and when necessary. They are, at the present time, as follows:

Professional Systematic Kinesiologists (SK) Diplomates (Dip.ASK)

Kinesiologists who have been successfully assessed following completion of a recognised foundation and diploma course in systematic kinesiology and who meet the following requirements for professional diplomate status: hold a certificate in nutrition and anatomy and physiology from an ASK accredited course; hold a current 1st aid certificate; hold a valid public liability and personal indemnity insurance; have paid their annual subscription to ASK and comply with the ASK code of ethics.

Diplomates SK may use the abbreviation Dip.ASK.

These members may see clients and charge a fee and have their name on the practitioner's list on the ASK website.

Annual membership £150.00 payable in two instalments of £75.00 in March and September. Short rate terms apply.

Certificate (Cert.ASK)

Kinesiologists who have been successfully assessed following completion of a recognised foundation and practitioner course and who meet the following requirements for certificate status: have paid their annual subscription to ASK; comply with the ASK Code of Ethics and Practice; hold a valid public liability and personal insurance and will be insured for the techniques as taught within the accredited ASK foundation course and the certificate course.

Certificates SK may use the abbreviation Cert.ASK

These members may see clients and charge a fee and have their name on the practitioner's list on the ASK website.

Annual membership £150-00 payable in two instalments of £75.00 March and September. Short rate terms apply.

Associate Membership

Kinesiologists who have successfully been assessed following completion of an ASK accredited foundation course and who meet the following requirements for associate status; have paid their annual subscription to ASK; comply with the ASK Code of Ethics and Practice; hold a valid public liability and personal indemnity insurance and will be insured for the techniques as taught within the accredited ASK foundation course.

These members may see clients and charge a fee.

Annual membership £50.00. Short rate terms apply.

Student Associate Membership

Open to all those who are training in one of the ASK accredited foundation courses.

N.B. Provided Student Associate Members are insured in the ASK block insurance scheme, only using ASK techniques as taught within the accredited ASK foundation course and have paid their annual subscription the student may see clients and charge legitimate expenses and be under the supervision of their tutor.

Annual membership £50.00. Payable annually in March. Short rate terms apply.

Friends of ASK

Open to all members of the public who wish to support ASK.

Annual membership £30.00. Payable annually in March.
