Benefits of Professional Membership

• ASK is the major, recognised Association for Systematic Kinesiology
• The Kinesiology National Occupational Standards (KNOS) have been granted and ASK accredited courses comply with, and exceed, the KNOS requirements
• ASK is a registered charity with a charitable status of education and research
• Professional ASK members are entered on to the Practitioner Register, which is available to persons seeking Professional Systematic Kinesiologist in their area
• Professional members may choose to have their contact details on the ASK website
• Technical help-line available from the ASK office - offers full back-up support for all queries relating to Systematic Kinesiology and associated information
• Access to members forum within the ASK website
• Many supplement companies will not supply to complementary practitioners who are not a member of a recognised Association. Being a member of ASK may entitle you to purchase items at a discount
• Regular newsletters and updates within the changing world of complementary medicine and on any matters that may affect you or your practice
• Cheaper insurance the the ASK block insurance scheme - currently £49.50 per annum with full comprehensive cover, including £2.5m public liability
• ASK accredited First Aid, Nutrition and Anatomy & Physiology courses

• Diploma (Designatory letters Dip.ASK) £150pa
• Certificate (Designatory letters Cert.ASK) £150pa
• Associate (Designatory letters Systematic Kinesiology)£50pa
• Student Associate £50pa

Renewals / Payments

Professional Fee: Payable in two instalments of £75.00 March and September
Associate/Student Fee: Payable £50.00 annually in March

Membership Requirements

Professional Membership of the Association of Systematic Kinesiology entitles the practitioner entry on to the Professional Register and is open to all individuals who meet the standards of Professional Systematic Kinesiology practice, established by the Trustees of ASK.

The Trustees reserve the right to alter these requirements as and when necessary. They are, at the present time, as follows:

Diploma (Dip. ASK)

Completion of Diploma Course.

Annual membership £150-00.

Certificate (Cert.ASK)

Completion of Certificate course

Annual membership £150-00

Associate Membership

Open to all who have completed one of the ASK Accredited Foundation Courses. Provided Associate members are:

• Insured with the ASK block insurance scheme
• Only use ASK techniques as taught within the Accredited ASK Foundation Course

these members may see clients and charge a fee.

Annual membership £50.00

Student Associate Membership

Open to all those who are training in one of the ASK Accredited Foundation Courses. Provided Student Associate Members are:

• Insured in the ASK block insurance scheme
• Only using ASK techniques as taught within the Accredited ASK Foundation Course

the student may see clients and charge legitimate expenses.

Friends of ASK

Open to all members of the public who wish to suuport ASK.
